Spam Cracker The SpamCracker site use to offer a free program that would allow you to add a script to your web server and request verification from senders before the mail was send on to you. We don't have the script or know the program's author. If anyone has information about the script and a copy we could offer here on the site, please let us know.
We now offer a collection of anti-spam resources and tools to help you fight spam and keep your inbox as free as possible from the filth and junk that we all are subjected to. Did you know your email account or web site hosting account may already come with tools to help you fight email spam? It's true. Many email accounts now come with different types of systems or configuration options to help reduce or identify spam. Most Linux-base hosting accounts have Spam Assassin as part of what they provide. Spam Assassin can be configured easily to filter email at the server and change the subject line so you can see or filter the spam as you like. The most common use is to filter spam into a "spam folder" so you can go throught it when you have time and make sure you don't lose anything important. Spam Assassin can be a little technical to configure, but the options provided by most hosting companies are pretty simple and they usually have some help on the subject.
